Children’s & Youth Groups
Children are an important part of the church family, and so we work hard to provide groups during part of the worship service, to welcome all ages and teach them the good news of Jesus Christ.
Sparklers playgroup
Our ‘Sparklers’ playgroup meets on Tuesday mornings in term time, 9:00-10:30am at Highlands Village Hall. A ‘stay and play’ for accompanied children under 5 with free-play, songs, craft, a Bible story and refreshments. £2 per family.
Good News Club
Our Good News Club has four groups that meet on Sunday mornings, catering for five different age-ranges:
0–2s
Rising 3s to end of pre-school*
Reception to Y2*
Y3–5
Y6–9
B@SE
B@SE is our youth group for Year 10s upwards, and meets every Sunday evening in the Village Hall in Highlands village (opposite the Sainsbury’s supermarket).
Youth Football
Every Tuesday evening in term time, 7-8pm, for school years 10-13, in the Highlands School sports hall. It’s just £2 per player with drinks and a half-time ‘God slot.’ Just show up!
