We are an evangelical Anglican church meeting together in Highlands School, Enfield. We were planted from Christ Church Cockfosters at the beginning of 2007. Our mission is ‘To know Christ and to share Christ’.
We are committed to the teaching of God’s Word and know that God speaks through it, by His Spirit, into our lives and the life of the church. We long to grow in our love for God and one another. As you can tell from our mission, we have a vision to reach out with the gospel – to share Jesus Christ with others.
Our senior minister, Revd. Andy Wadsworth, has been with Grace Church Highlands since it was planted in 2007. ‘Waddy’ is married to Katie, and they have three children: Rosie, Jack, and Harry. Formerly a chartered surveyor, Waddy trained for gospel ministry at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, before serving a curacy in Plymouth. He came to lead Grace Church as we launched from Christ Church Cockfosters because of his passion for telling anyone who’ll listen about the good news of Jesus.
Revd. Christopher Stead was placed at Grace Church during his theological training at Oak Hill College. In God’s providence, circumstances meant that on finishing in 2015, an opportunity to serve as GCH’s first curate was the perfect fit. He and his wife Abi are well occupied with the bundle of energy called Ava, their daughter, and despite having sworn that they would never end up in London, they have now been in the area for nearly six years, and secretly love it!
